Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in processing prescriptions, data entry and medication preparation. You will interact with patients, address questions, and ensure transactions are handled accurately and securely.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, regulatory awareness, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance and workflow efficiency.

Formación

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on location requirements.
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable.
• Ability to operate computers, registers and pharmacy systems.
• Completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing and HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer systems.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Availability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with processing prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare medications and manage prescription workflows.
• Interact with patients for questions and transactions.
• Direct clinical questions to the pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain organization, restock supplies and keep workspace compliant.
