Position Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be responsible for retrieving medication from stock, counting and packaging orders for Pharmacist review, maintaining workstations with adequate supplies, removing outdated products from shelves, assisting with inventory replenishment, and maintaining par levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items. Occasionally, you may be asked to reach out to patients for customer service calls and inquiries on shipped orders.

Location and Schedule

Position Location: 19 Chapin Rd. Suite D8 Pine Brook, NJ 07058

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Sunday – Thursday, with an 8-hour shift during 3:00PM – 11:30PM. Flexibility for occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Process and fill prescription orders for pharmacist verification
  2. Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients
  3. Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units
  4. Replenish workstation supplies (vials, caps, labels, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Ability to work onsite at the specified address
  • Full-time availability, including evenings
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours
  • Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail or mail-order pharmacy
  • Data entry experience in pharmacy/prescriptions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation and Benefits
