The position requires a California Pharmacy Technician License, a CA Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire, and at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience or PTCB certification.

Qualificações

• Minimum of one year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with current PTCB certification, or two years (4160 hours) in hospital pharmacy without PTCB.

Description

Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED


• Upon hire: California Pharmacy Technician License


• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire


• Minimum of one year (>2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - or 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy in not PTCB certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians)


• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
