Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision, in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if certified.
• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, resolving issues, and building relationships.

Additional duties:

• Supporting pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, medication verification, inventory management, and clerical tasks.
• Maintaining compliance with all policies and procedures, including error reporting and safety standards.
• Participating in clinical services and community outreach as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification, with opportunities for promotion.
• Attend training and continuing education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy practices.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
