Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations.
• Delivering excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers, offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, verifying medicines, and maintaining workflow under supervision.
• Reporting prescription errors and adhering to dispensing policies.
• Handling sales transactions and assisting with inventory management.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Participating in training sessions to update healthcare and pharmacy knowledge.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification are preferred.
