Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in practicing pharmacy in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet customers, resolve issues, and develop relationships.

Additional Duties

• Perform pharmacy tasks such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and support inventory management.
• Support clinical services and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent in English (except Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, or PTCB certification preferred.
• Good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control preferred.
