Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Supporting other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure positive interactions.
• Sharing customer service best practices and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practice under supervision, including entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding errors and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management, maintaining a neat and stocked pharmacy, and supporting clinical services as needed.
• Building relationships with the healthcare community and maintaining a clean, orderly pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program and acquiring continuing education credits.
• Attending requested training and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico), willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
