Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and supporting other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy practices under supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, verification, and workflow management.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies on dispensing and error management.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and external healthcare provider relationships.
• Maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment and complying with all policies.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification, with promotion contingent on certification if not already obtained.
• Attending training sessions, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying informed on healthcare developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
