Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with regulations and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations.
3. Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and developing relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices and proactively identify customer needs.

Operations

• Support pharmacy operations, including data entry, prescription filling, and inventory management.
• Report errors promptly and adhere to dispensing policies.
• Handle cash register transactions and assist with clinical services as needed.

Training & Development

• Maintain PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on healthcare developments.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
