Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
• Building strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practices, including entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing workflow under supervision.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting with inventory management, and supporting clinical services as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment and supporting external relationships with healthcare providers.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program and/or state certification, earning it as a condition for promotion.
• Participating in training sessions, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying updated on healthcare developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
