Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Billings, MT to dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and perform clerical duties for the clinic.

The position offers hourly pay from $16 to $29 based on experience, with PTO coverage and a Monday–Friday schedule, requiring a MT license and reliable transportation for occasional deliveries.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Montana Pharmacy Technician license.
• Ability to use own car to make deliveries when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Delivery of medications.
• Other duties as assigned
