Southeast Health in Dothan, AL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under Alabama Board guidelines to dispense medications safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include stocking Pyxis cabinets, maintaining inventory, preparing doses, unit dosing, sterile IV compounding when assigned, and supporting OR/Anesthesia teams as needed.

A Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the pharmacist as dictated by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy to provide medications safely and efficiently to our patients.

Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred 1-3 years as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting preferred
Must have an Alabama Board of Pharmacy Technician license or able to obtain a license prior to employment
Certified Pharmacy technician (PTCB) or other nationally recognized certification preferred, but not required LPN, Advanced EMT or Military Trained Pharmacy Technicians will also be considered Completion of pharmacy technician training program preferred, but not required
