Select Specialty Hospital - The Villages in Oxford, Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for per diem shifts on weekends, weekdays, and holidays. Compensation is $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred unless required by the State.
• Per diem schedule includes weekend, weekdays, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Complete a variety of pharmacy tasks and services.
• Work under the direction of a licensed pharmacist and may work independently.
• Pick up drug orders at nursing stations and prepare medications under supervision.
• Deliver the correct quantities of medications to patient areas.
• Assist with billing and crediting of patient medications.
• Maintain drugs in the pharmacy per the Drug Formulary, including ordering, receiving, storing, and paperwork.
• Monitor doses per the Medication Administration Record and narcotics sign-out records.
• Maintain forms and reports for narcotics and other controlled substances.

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred unless required by the State.
