Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem

Sunrise Vista Health and Wellness Hospital
Canton, Ohio

As a per diem, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing, delivering, and restocking medications;
2. Performing order entry;
3. Procuring drugs;
4. Billing.

You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position provides time off coverage 'as needed' and does not have any regularly scheduled hours; with a minimum of 4 hours per month.

Starting salary range: $20 - $23 hour (based upon related work experience).

About the Facility: Sunrise Vista Health and Wellness is a new facility with a new pharmacy located in Canton, Ohio, and is a 72-bed behavioral health hospital specializing in adolescents, adults, and older adults, with a centralized inpatient pharmacy. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Pharmacy Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
3. Ohio Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
4. Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
5. Effective communication skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

1. (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
2. (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
3. Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
4. Hep B3 Series (or declination)
5. (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
6. COVID Vaccine
