Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity.
• Follow safety guidelines and notify management of unsafe conditions.
• Understand and perform ordering functions with wholesalers.
• Follow guidelines on inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Count, measure and prepare specified product per best practices.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure value to customer and company.
• Answer phone and triage inquiries as appropriate.
• Adhere to coupon and cash-shortage/shrink guidelines and policies.
• Operate cash register and process payments (Credit/Debit, EBT, Gift Cards).
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist with duties not requiring professional judgment.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Stock legend orders and deliveries.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and respectfully.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek help as needed.
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
