Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Valid ExCPT Certification provided by NHA or PTCB certification and registration with State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Previous experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and verifying the accuracy of prescriptions.
• Reviewing and recording patient information with their prescription per guidelines.
• Providing instructions on correct medication usage to patients.
• Supporting the Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
• Adhering to infection-control protocols to protect staff and patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
