Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada.
• 3+ years of pharmacy related experience (retail preferred).
• Proficiency with Windows PC applications and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to support other sites within the Las Vegas area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred).
• National Technician Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Interpret physicians' prescriptions, create orders, access/retrieve prescription information and verify reimbursement eligibility.
• Provide superior customer service in a pharmacy setting.
• Maintain inventory levels reflecting the approved formulary.
• Ensure prescriptions comply with all legal requirements, including OBRA'90.
• Distribute medications accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with other departments to maximize service levels.
