Job summary

Walmart - Sam's Club in Katy, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, process transactions, and assist patients with purchases in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

You will enter prescription data into the pharmacy system, help manage insurance claims, stock shelves, and maintain a safe, welcoming shopping environment in accordance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases at the pharmacy register and assist with payments.
• Maintain pharmacy displays; stock, rotate, and price items.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and third-party insurance claims.
• Provide member service and resolve issues in the pharmacy area.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and prepare medications.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a safe, welcoming environment.

Education

Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB/PTCE or ExCPT)
