Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our in-store pharmacy operations. The role involves retrieving medications, entering prescription data, processing insurance claims, and maintaining an orderly pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail/community pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory and prepare prescriptions.
• Enter patient and prescription data into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and process insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock medications and maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization.
• Promote pharmacy services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and communicate effectively with the team.
• Maintain professional appearance and patient confidentiality.
