Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health in Flagstaff is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support prescription preparation and dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Starting Pay: $20.58 per hour, schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:30am–6:30pm. Ideal candidates possess a High School Diploma or GED, AZ Pharmacy Technician license, and BLS certification; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• AZ Pharmacy Technician license required per AZ State Board.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 5 years' related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mixes pharmaceutical preparation, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types labels for bottles.
• Assist Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Counts stock and enters date in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to customer, computers, charges, and enters date in computer.
• Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware according to prescribed methods.
• Interacts with other medical professionals to fulfill clinic stocking needs.
