Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions and high‑quality patient care. You’ll follow SOPs, assist with immunizations, and help maintain a patient‑centered store experience.

Training and licensure requirements must be met in accordance with state guidelines. The role includes performing essential pharmacy duties, collaborating with pharmacists, and remaining adaptable to store needs while maintaining a compassionate

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Attend to daily pharmacy operations with regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ensure prescription information is accurate and labeling is correct
• Assist patients with empathy and deliver service that supports patient safety and satisfaction
• Assist in inventory activities and medication deliveries as directed by pharmacy leadership
• Support immunizations and other patient health services where legally allowed and trained
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business
• Comply with all applicable laws, CVS policies, and privacy requirements
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive team culture
