Job summary

Southern Indian Health Council in Alpine/Campo, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy department under the Pharmacist-in-charge. This non-exempt role is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with compensation from $26.46 to $37.91 per hour depending on experience.

You will assist the Pharmacist with filling prescriptions, stock, labeling, data entry, insurance billing, and daily POS reports, while ensuring a neat, compliant, and well-organized pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Must have a California Pharmacy Technician certificate of registration.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license required.
• Insurable under SIHC vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with filling prescriptions.
• Obtain drugs from stock and prepare medications.
• Enter patient data and bill insurance; process refills.
• Maintain neat, clean pharmacy and verify storage/expiry.
• Operate pharmacy software to label prescriptions.
• Handle daily POS reports.
• Rotate to Campo Clinic as needed.
• Flexible schedule as needed.
