Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior outpatient pharmacy technician experience recommended.
• PTCB certification preferred within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in providing optimal pharmaceutical care.
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Interact with patients and managed care plans for prescription coverage.
• Assemble prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Complete patient purchases using point of sale systems.
• Maintain accurate medication inventories and billing.
