Job summary

The GIANT Company in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Team Member to fill prescriptions, assist customers, and support daily operations in the Pharmacy.

You will unpack totes, verify IDs when required, maintain inventory, and perform data entry and dispensing within stated limits. Qualified applicants will pass background checks and drug screening and comply with safety and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meets state required minimum age.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties.
• Introductory period of 60 days required.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Able to use/learn equipment in this job.
• Safety-focused and able to perform all functions safely.
• Meets company performance standards.
• Willing to wear assigned clothes and shoes.
• Must have and maintain valid licenses/permits for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at shift start, comply with PPE.
• Move totes, open totes, unpack incoming supplies, shelve items.
• Clean shelving, check inventory, inspect expiration dates.
• Help customers and answer telephone calls.
• Verify customer identifications for products where required.
• Complete prescription filling, including data entry and dispensing.
