Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Pharmacy team member at our Whitehall, PA location to fill prescriptions, assist customers, and manage inventory and dispensing tasks. You will handle phone inquiries and ensure compliant service within pharmacy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must meet state required minimum age.
• Must be able to successfully complete background check and drug screening.
• Must read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties and follow safety regulations.
• Must complete the 60-day probationary period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely and meet company performance standards.
• Must wear proper clothing and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at start of shift and prepare supplies and PPE.
• Move totes, unpack incoming supplies, and stock shelves.
• Clean shelving, check inventory, and inspect product expiration dates.
• Assist customers and answer telephone calls.
• Verify customer identification for products when required.
• Complete prescription filling process, including data entry and dispensing.
