Walmart at 381 BENNER PIKE, STATE COLLEGE, PA 16801-7304, United States of America is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment and patient service. You will enter prescription data, process third-party claims, stock the pharmacy, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

This role requires meeting state requirements and obtaining PTCE or ExCPT within 9 months, delivering accurate, courteous service at drop-off and pickup windows in a fast-paced retail pharmacy

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions by reading prescription data and entering into pharmacy software.
• Assist with third-party insurance claims and rejections, including processing and reconciling claims.
• Maintain the pharmacy area: stock, signage, pricing, displays, and cleanliness; handle damaged/out-of-date items.
• Provide member/patient service at the prescription drop-off and pickup windows, answer questions, and resolve issues.
