Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment in a retail setting. You will help patients, assist pharmacists, and follow SOPs to uphold patient safety and service excellence.

The role requires compliance with state boards, appropriate licensure/certification, and the ability to travel within the market if needed. Training and immunization certification may be provided where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Maintain accuracy in labeling and dispensing to ensure patient safety.
• Follow SOPs and support safe, efficient pharmacy operations.
• Provide immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law.
• Support inventory and store operations as directed by leadership.
