Staff Today Inc in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with preparing, packaging, dispensing medications, and handling prescriptions. The role requires PA registration, two years’ experience, and a commitment to accurate records and patient service.

The job offers local pay of $24.15 per hour on a W2 basis, with benefits after probation. You will work Monday to Friday with 40 hours per week, maintain inventory, process insurance claims, and follow all safety

Qualifications

• PTCB or NHA certification required and state technician registration.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years working experience as Pharmacy Technician.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board if required.
• Copy of current required certifications (e.g., BLS, immunization records) and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications.
• Receive and process prescription orders accurately.
• Measure, count, label, and package medications per procedures.
• Maintain medication inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Process insurance claims and assist with prescription billing when applicable.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Ensure proper storage and expiry control of medications.
• Provide courteous customer service while directing clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Follow pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized and efficient pharmacy work environment.
