The role requires completion of the company training program and meeting state licensing/certification requirements. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws.
• Minimum age of 16 if no state requirement.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist patients and customers.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues using verbal and written cues.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure medications are filled promptly and accurately.
