Job summary

Hunter Health Clinic, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist, process prescriptions, and deliver exceptional patient service.

You will support the Director of Pharmacy and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining accurate records in the EHR. The role requires a Kansas Pharmacy Technician license within 30 days, PTCB/NHA certification, and BLS; immunization certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Kansas pharmacy technician license within 30 days of hire.
• PTCB or NHA certification required before first renewal.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Immunization certificate preferred.
• 1+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with 340B pharmacies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service and patient support.
• Maintain accurate EHR and pharmacy records.
• Manage inventory, receive stock, and create orders/returns.
• Assist with third-party payor submissions and resolve denials.
• Support pharmacy operations and compliance with regulations.
