Job summary

CVS Health in Michigan is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and additional services where allowed, and help maintain a caring, compliant store environment.

The role requires completion of state board/licensure requirements and a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years’ pharmacy tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations and other services when allowed
• Travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed by the business
