Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in Fairfax, VA. This part-time role focuses on accurate prescription fulfillment, patient care, and adherence to SOPs, with opportunities to assist immunizations and offsite clinics where allowed by law.

Responsibilities include patient-facing service, inventory tasks, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure safe, timely medication delivery.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State board licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists with patient health management.
• Process prescriptions accurately and safely to ensure patient safety.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service at pickup, drive-thru, and on the phone.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and support cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
• Be flexible for scheduling, travel to market stores as needed by the business.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety.
• Deliver additional health care services as allowed by law and training.
