Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our retail pharmacy team. You will support pharmacists in prescription processing, patient service, and store operations with a focus on accuracy, safety, and compassionate care.

The role requires flexibility for weekends and adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements. As part of CVS Health, you will contribute to a safe, inclusive culture and assist in immunizations, patient communication, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, and ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Customer service and team orientation to help patients and colleagues.
• Clear communication with patients and pharmacy staff.
• Mathematical reasoning for prescriptions, dosages, and day’s supply.
• Problem resolution to address patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical demands including mobility and lifting up to 20 lbs as needed.
