Job summary

CVS Health in Montvale, New Jersey is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, and help with immunizations and related services where allowed by law.

The role requires state licensure/certification and a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–3 years of pharmacy tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and laws.
• Minimum age and education per state board rules; at least 16 if not otherwise defined.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment, labeling and safety checks.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores across the market as needed.
