Job summary
CVS Health in Texas McKinney is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team, fill prescriptions promptly, and provide caring service to patients in a fast-paced retail setting. Qualifications
- Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice, incl. licensure/certification
- If the state board sets a minimum age, follow it; otherwise at least 16 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled
- State-level licensure and national certification vary by state
Responsibilities
- Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends
- Complete required training within designated timeframe
- Confirm prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety
- Follow SOPs and support pharmacy workflow at each station
- Assist with immunizations and related services where allowed by law
- Support inventory activities and Returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership
