Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in CVS Health stores. You will help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and deliver friendly customer service while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

This role requires state licensure and national certification as applicable, with opportunities to assist immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and steady full-time hours across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists in managing patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic, caring patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and assist with returns-to-stocks and cycle counts.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and stay flexible for scheduling.
• Support immunizations and vaccines where allowable by law and training.
