Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service across stores in the Huntsville area.

The role requires complying with state pharmacy regulations, completing training, and maintaining licensure/certification as needed. Expect a customer-focused environment with opportunities to expand clinical knowledge and participate in immunization services where allowed.

Qualifications

• Comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure/certification
• If state requires, minimum age 16
• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including weekends
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow at each workstation
• Provide empathetic patient experiences at pickup, drive-thru, and by phone
• Perform basic inventory activities and cycle counts
• Contribute to a high-performing team and expand clinical/technical knowledge
• Be flexible for scheduling and market-wide store coverage
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies
• Deliver additional patient health care services where trained and authorized
