Job summary

CVS Health in Huntingburg, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment while providing caring service.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and tests where allowed, and ensure compliance with state board requirements and company policies, with training provided. This is a full-time, in-store role in a retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions.
• Completing basic inventory activities and supporting controlled substance dispensing and recordkeeping.
• Delivering additional patient health care services where allowable and supported by training and certification.
