Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address minimum age, candidate may be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address minimum education, high school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment is required.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Preferred qualifications include 1–3 years as a Pharmacy Technician and prior pharmacy/retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacists in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Contribute to immunization services and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, patient privacy, and safety standards.
