Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in our retail stores. The technician will support the pharmacy team with prescription processing, patient service, and adherence to SOPs to ensure safe and accurate dispensing.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16.
• If the state board does not address a minimum education, must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to patients at the counter, drive-thru, or phone while following SOPs.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment, accuracy, and labeling.
• Support immunization and vaccination services where allowed by law and training.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and maintain patient safety and privacy.
