Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams across stores. You will help ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, deliver patient‑centered care, and assist with inventory and daily operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

This role requires state licensure and national certification where applicable, with training and registration as per state guidelines, and may involve immunization support where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If no minimum age is mandated by the state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe and effective pharmacy operations as part of the store team.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service and support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Assist with basic inventory tasks, receiving deliveries, and cycle counts as directed.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and market needs, including travel to stores as required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Active enrollment in high school or high school equivalency program
