Job summary

CVS Health in Bluefield, WV is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations, assist customers, prepare prescriptions, and help maintain accuracy and safety in a busy retail setting.

You will follow SOPs, work with pharmacists, handle immunizations and related duties as allowed by law, and may travel to stores in the market as needed. The role requires state licensure/certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy staff with prescription fulfillment and customer interactions.
• Support immunization services and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
• Follow SOPs and ensure accurate labeling and dispensing under supervision.
• Maintain inventory and assist with operational tasks as directed by management.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues to deliver quality service.
