Job summary

CVS Health seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and assist patients in our retail stores. You will help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and deliver excellent customer service as part of a collaborative pharmacy team.

You will follow SOPs, participate in ongoing training, and meet licensing requirements where applicable. The role may include immunization support and cross-store coverage as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, incl. licensure/certification
• If no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state; learn more.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and ensure accuracy
• Customer service and teamwork to assist patients and colleagues
• Effective communication with patients and staff
• Perform mathematical tasks such as calculating days supply and labeling
• Problem resolution and escalation when needed
• Physical demands including lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for long periods
• Follow all laws, CVS policies, and protect patient privacy and security
• Travel to stores in the market as needed by the business
• Deliver immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowable by law and training
