Job summary

CVS Health in Apex, NC, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and provide caring service to patients. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help patients with immunizations and other services where permitted by law.

Role requires compliance with state board rules, high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to travel as needed. Strong communication and math skills help ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, licensure/certification.
• If state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum educational requirement, must have high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in HS or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Creating positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; offering immunizations and other services when possible.
• Completing basic inventory activities and 차e to stock, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories, etc.
• Contributing to a high-performing team and being receptive to feedback; expanding clinical and technical knowledge.
• Flexibility for scheduling and business needs; travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and ethics; protecting patient privacy and security.
• Delivering additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowed.
