Job summary

CVS Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams and ensure accurate prescription fulfillment. You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, and contribute to a safe, welcoming patient experience across our stores.

Responsibilities include handling daily workflow, supporting immunizations and other services where allowed, and maintaining inventory and accuracy to deliver high-quality care to patients and families in the market.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (Preferred)
• Ability to work in home store and across the market to meet business needs (Preferred)
• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice (Required)
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old (Required)

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety
• Provide empathetic, helpful customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Assist with inventory activities, including stocking, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety
• Deliver additional health care services where allowed by law and training
