Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment in-store. You’ll assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and contribute to a compassionate patient experience within a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires complying with state board requirements, maintaining high accuracy, and providing excellent customer service. This is a part-time position with weekend availability and a comprehensive benefits offering.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription information is accurate
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days of supply and quantities
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, and visual requirements
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
