Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment within a CVS store. You will assist with inventory, customer service, immunization support, and daily workflow while upholding SOPs and patient privacy.

The role requires adherence to state board requirements, completion of a rigorous training program, and flexibility to work nights and weekends in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address/minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address/minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate doses, days supply, and bottles needed
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: lift and move items, stand for extended periods, and reach overhead
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20
• Time Type: Part time
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
