Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions, ensure accuracy, and deliver compassionate service to patients at pickup, drive-thru, and by phone.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent; actively enrolled if needed.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• 1–3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Assist pharmacists in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service at pickup, drive-thru, and by phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities as directed by the leadership team.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Lift up to 20 lbs and move items as needed.
