Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician for our retail locations. You will support pharmacists in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, provide caring patient service, and help with immunizations and other clinic services as trained.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, state licensure, and high school completion or equivalent, with potential travel to market stores to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• If state board has no min age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage patient health.
• Fulfill prescriptions safely and accurately per pharmacy workflow.
• Provide empathetic, personalized service to patients at pick-up, drive-thru, or by phone.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and restock as directed by leadership.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be open to feedback.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Comply with laws, privacy, and CVS policies to protect patient safety.
• Assist with additional health care services when trained and permitted.
