Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacy team with dispensing, patient service, and adherence to SOPs in a busy retail setting. You will help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and support immunization services where allowed.

The role requires state licensure and a high school diploma, plus strong customer service and teamwork. Occasional travel to market stores may be required; 15 weekly hours and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice, licensing and certification.
• If no minimum age is mandated by the state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing and patient service within SOPs.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient experiences and expand services like immunizations where allowed.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts and other tasks.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws, privacy and CVS policies to protect patients.
• Support additional health services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) when trained.
